- Makes efforts for the development of society within the framework of corporate social responsibility.
- Supports employees in being voluntary participants in suitable social and community activities with a sense of social responsibility.
- Respects the right of workers to establish unions or other forms of workers’ associations and engage in collective bargaining.
- Pays fair wages to workers.
- Provides employees with a healthy and safe working environment.
- Assesses occupational health and safety risks and takes all necessary measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
- Supports occupational health and safety practices with occupational health and safety policies.
- Does not engage in forced or involuntary labor.
- Respects the personality and dignity of each employee.
- Does not impose corporate punishment.
- Never allows verbal, physical, sexual, or psychological harassment, mobbing, threats, or coercion.
- Does not tolerate any acts of corruption, extortion, embezzlement, or bribery.
- Provides equal opportunities to all employees and does not discriminate among employees.
- Employs workers during legal working hours.
- Does not employ any worker below the legal minimum age.
- Makes legal contracts with employees.
- Supports environmental awareness with its environmental policy.
- Manages and takes preventive measures for environmental impacts arising from all its activities with a sense of responsibility.
- Develops approaches to ensure that all business partners, especially suppliers, act in accordance with FATIH KALEM standards in the field of social responsibility and takes care to implement these approaches.
- Acts with sensitivity to the traditions and cultures of Turkey and the countries where it operates and complies with all legal regulations.
- Adheres to the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Fundamental Conventions applicable to all countries. As long as FATIH KALEM continues its existence, it declares and commits to strictly adhere to the “FATIH KALEM Corporate Social Responsibility Policy” consisting of a total of seventeen (17) articles.
